Ian’s passion is for farming and for his cows, which is obvious to all who meet him. After moving back to his parents’ farm in the small Cheshire village of Mobberley 20 years ago, Ian and his family now run a multi award winning farm.
Buying direct from the farm provides the guarantee of the highest animal welfare and the highest quality beef. These incredible Angus cows are a grass-fed, slowly grown herd which live outside almost all year round and just come inside to calve. The result is succulent, rich flavorsome, well marbled beef.
The Norbury Family have home reared their suckler-herd for 15 years. Ian and his family originally sold to large corporations but are moving to direct marketing to create a local base and reduce their carbon footprint.
The Grill Master
Ian has partnered up with luxury local barbecue caterer, Chris Martin owner of The Flaming Gourmand, to produce and supply beef boxes to the local area around the farm.
The Flaming Gourmand provide a wood fired Argentinian and Brazilian style private event, corporate and wedding catering for families around Cheshire and the North. The food they provide is locally sourced and of the highest quality and welfare.
During the pandemic, it felt a natural step to work alongside their supplier to sell the meat that they so very enjoy cooking.
